The sale of Helbor grows 70.6% and surpasses US$ 1.14 billion

One of the developers operating in the Brazilian market, Helbor Empreendimentos SA celebrates excellent results, after accounting for contracted sales of R$ 2 billion (US$ 1,14 billion) in 2010, representing volume of 70.6% above that of the year before. According to the company, compared with 2009, Helbor recorded last year an increase of 73.1% for Global Sales Value (GSV) of the real estate undertakings launched, that amount more than R$ 1.6 billion (US$ 909.1 million) of GSV. According to the executive vice president of Helbor, Henry Borenstein, "in 2010 Helbor changed levels, with record in sales and launchings, increases in margins and profits", he said in the announcement of the company's financial data. And he completed: "We have confidence in the potential of the Brazilian real estate market and are prepared to achieve even better results".
In 2010, the number of units sold surpassed 2009 in more than 1,000 units. In total, more than 5,000 units were sold last year. From January to December there were 19 projects launched, totaling 4,204 units. Helbor has operations in 28 cities in 10 Brazilian states besides the Federal District. Founded in 1977 in Mogi das Cruzes (SP), it accumulates 10 thousand units delivered. Over the next three years, Helbor will conclude other 10 thousand residential and commercial units.
