This may still not be the year of overcome of the crisis as regards jobs in the industry of São Paulo. By the calculations of the Fiesp, only in the beginning of 2012, the sector will return to the level prior to the global crisis. In December, the Fiesp had estimated that level would be achieved at the end of 2011. "The American economy is having difficulty to recover", said the Director of the Department of Studies and Economic Research (Depecon) of the Fiesp, Paulo Francini. It is expected growth of 3.4% in jobs in the industry of São Paulo this year, with the creation of 85,000 jobs. To return to the pre-crisis level, it would be necessary to create more 10,000 to 15,000 jobs.
