Norwegian Airlines plans Brazil routes

Valor Internacional

Already the third largest low-cost carrier in Europe, Norwegian Airlines wants to fly to Brazil. The company has scheduled meetings in early March at the Ministry of Transportation and with officials from the National Agency of Civil Aviation to detail its plans. The company already won authorization from Argentina officials for flights between Buenos Aires and 13 Brazilian destinations, and four other routes between Argentine and Brazilian cities. Norwegian had previously announced plans to invest $4.3 billion in South America over the next decade using Argentina as its hub.
