Nestlé plans a new investment drive in Brazil next year that could turn Brazil into a Latin America's export hub for two important brands: Kit Kat candy bars and Purina animal feed. The parent approved R$480 million for part of its 31 plants in Brazil and for building a second chocolate line at its Caçapava, São Paulo, factory. A Dolce Gusto plant, the most recent in Brazil, will also start exporting soon according to Magdi Batato, the Swiss multinational's VP of operations.
