InvestSP Hosts Delegation of the State Government of Acre
InvestSPOn the morning of Tuesday, August 6, a delegation from the State Government of Acre, led by Governor Gladson Cameli, visited InvestSP, the investment promotion agency affiliated with São Paulo’s Department of Economic Development.
Acre is currently structuring its new investment program, which is managed by the State Business Agency of Acre (Anac S.A.) in partnership with the State Secretariat for Industry, Science, and Technology (Seict). The visit was focused on presenting the operational model of the São Paulo agency.
The group was welcomed by InvestSP President Rui Gomes, along with directors Marília Garcez and João Paulo Hamu, International Offices Head Julia Saluh, General Projects Manager Martha Coelho, and managers Cyro Mariquito and David Telles. Anac President Waleska Bezerra and Director Hamilton Melo also participated in the meeting.
“We were very pleased to receive the delegation from the State Government of Acre, led by Governor Gladson Cameli. We presented our operations and key results. The visit is a recognition of the work we have been doing at InvestSP and proof that we are on the right track. You can count on us. We are always open to dialogue and exchange of experiences,” commented Rui Gomes.
The governor emphasized his goal of increasing Acre’s exports and making the state an attractive destination for both national and international investors. “InvestSP has demonstrated professionalism in this area for years, and we in Acre, who are seeking partners to invest, create jobs, and stimulate the economy, have come to learn from InvestSP to showcase Acre’s potential, not only to the Brazilian domestic market but also for exports,” said the governor.
