Investe SP prospecting companies from the agribusiness sector at Agrishow

With a stand at Agrishow, in Ribeirão Preto, the agency contacted over 150 companies that were exhibiting at the fair.

Aiming to prospect new business for the State of São Paulo, presenting the competitive advantages of the state economy, Investe São Paulo participated with a stand at the 19th Agrishow - International Fair of Agricultural Technology in Action, which took place from April 30 to May 4, in Ribeirão Preto.

“Our balance is very positive, we were able to contact more than 150 companies, in particular, exhibitors, making the services of Investe SP available to these potential investors,” said the prospecting manager of the Agency, Renato Barros. This year, 780 exhibitors from 53 countries participated in the event.

The International Manager of Investe SP, Luís Arbex, highlighted the importance of the fair, which welcomed over 40,000 visitors only in the first two days. The expectation of the organizers is to exceed the estimated number of 150,000 visitors during the five days of the event, generating approximately R$ 2 billion in business. “We also intend to reach foreign audiences, showing that there is an agency available to companies looking to start or expand their business in the State of São Paulo,” said Arbex.

Agrishow is the main event of the agribusiness sector in Latin America. With an area of 360,000 square meters, this year’s edition was the stage of demonstrations of agricultural machinery and equipment of the leading companies in the market, in addition to business meetings and technical visits.

Investe SP shared its stand at the fair with Nossa Caixa Desenvolvimento – a Development Agency of São Paulo, in the area reserved for the State Department of Agriculture and Supply.
