Investe SP creates Steering Committee of SP Export
President of Investe SP, Juan Quirós, wants practical and quick actions to encourage exporters from São Paulo

On November 13, the president of Investe São Paulo, Juan Quirós, created the Steering Committee of SP Export, a program recently created by the Agency to stimulate exports. The committee, formed by agencies and institutions involved with the subject, determined, at the first meeting, the main strategies of action dedicated to enable small and medium entrepreneurs to conquer new markets for their products abroad.
All stakeholders involved already engaged in the First Seminar for Exporters, to be held on December 4, at Expo D. Pedro, in Campinas, from 9 am to 5 pm, bringing together small, medium and large enterprises from the Metropolitan Region. The event relies on the partnership of the Municipality of Campinas, Ciesp and Lide Campinas in the organization.
At the event, ‘Poupa Tempo do Exportador’ a public service intended to provide support to Exporters, will be launched, bringing together agencies and institutions engaged in five thematic areas of support to entrepreneurs: training, financing, adequacy of products, promotional actions and intelligence studies.
The members of the Steering Committee agreed to act in a practical way to quickly achieve the results. “We will stimulate the export culture, show alternatives and seek solutions for each company and each sector. The results will come,” said the agency’s president, Juan Quirós, when he was creating the Steering Committee.
The meeting was organized by the Export Manager of Investe São Paulo, Ricardo Santana, with the support from the team formed by Paulo Brusqui, Natália Muto and Gisele Saad.
