Housing package attracts clients to building companies

Building companies specialized in real estate for the low income class, have already registered a relevant increase in the number of consumers in the on-site sales office and in the stores. The probable clients are looking for more detailed information about the opportunities offered by the housing package of the government for the purchase a house, announced Wednesday (25). "Our activity at the Itaquera shopping mall store, increased three times Wednesday night, after the announcement of the package", says Fábio Cury, CEO of Cury Construtora e Incorporadora. For now, the entrepreneur says he is only registering clients according to the income profile the people who look for the company. The next step will be to get in touch with these consumers in order to offer them the products, when the company starts operating in accordance with the government housing plan.

At Rodobens Negócios Imobiliários, that operates mainly in undertakings aimed at the income bracket between R$ 2,325 (US$ 1,010.9) and R$ 4,650 (US$ 2,021.7), the reception of the package was positive. According to the CEO, Eduardo Gorayeb, the activity of clients at the on-site sales offices, the telephone calls and the inquiries in the company website increased after the announcement of the package. "The flow is above the normal, mainly for a week day."

Renato Diniz, director of the economic segment at Rossi, confirms the increase in the search at the 15 on-site sales offices of the company. "But the great reflex of the package must be felt in the weekend." In the last years, the company increased the participation of the economic segment in the total of launchings. In 2007, it represented 13%; in 2008, 30%; and it will be 50% this year.
