Study examines setting up of Chinese companies in Brazil and in Latin America
The CEBC (China-Brazil Business Council) will launch, on May 27, a survey on the new phase of the Chinese investments in Brazil, conducted by the analysis team of the Council, with the editorial coordination of Professor Antonio Barros de Castro. The results of the study will be presented at the seminar entitled "Chinese Investments: understanding the recent movement of the Chinese companies in Brazil and in Latin America", which will be held at the headquarters of the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation - FAAP and it will not only mark the launching of the survey of the CEBC, but also the presentation of the survey of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) on the Chinese investments in Latin America.
The study aims to contribute to characterize and distinguish the Chinese investments, offering the Brazilian society and, in particular, to the businessmen involved in the economic exchange with China, a panorama of the current dynamics of such investments in Brazil. The preliminary results were released in the launching issue of the Brazil-China Update publication. To access the article, click here.
