BNDES takes the first step into digitalization

The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) took the first step toward becoming a digital bank, reaching a deal to allow its cards to make purchases on B2W, the e-commerce company that controls brands Americanas.com, Submarino and Shoptime. BNDES issues credit cards with and annual limit of up to R$2 million to businesses, which can use the funds to buy supplies or inputs registered at the bank's site. With the B2W deal, businesses will be able to purchase them directly with the card.
