On Friday (August 10, 2018), Mauro Catharino, from the Coordination of Institutional Relations of the National Institute of Intellectual Property (COINS/SP), was at Investe São Paulo to talk about investment attraction and exports: the role of intellectual property.

Catharino detailed the duties of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), new patent process flows, agreements with institutions around the world, use of geographical indication to add value, and gave tips on intellectual property rights. The executive also talked about public registration and the new block chain universe.
