Investe SP - Investment Promotion Agency

On January 16, Investe SP welcomed authorities from the city of Franca at the agency’s headquarters, in São Paulo. The intention was to show the activities promoted by the agency to the new Secretary of Development of the city, Flávia Lancha.

Among the topics discussed was the expansion of the market of Franca, whose vocation is no longer concentrated in footwear, as it now includes sectors such as food, cosmetics, chemicals and clothing. Investe São Paulo showed its support to exports of companies from São Paulo – including those in Franca, which currently represent the largest production of footwear in Latin America.

In addition, the secretary was granted access to the “Municipalities Area”, a database administered by local governments that wish to register available areas and warehouses for new projects. The channel, created by the Agency, seeks to streamline the advisory services provided free of charge by Investe São Paulo and facilitate the establishment of new businesses in the state.
