Investe São Paulo received at its headquarters, on November 1, an African delegation with authorities from Uganda. The meeting aimed to discuss future business cooperation between the East Africa country and the State of São Paulo.
In addition to answering questions about Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), the director of the agency Sérgio Costa presented the economic potential of São Paulo and the investment opportunities. Among the topics discussed were the importance of public transportation in São Paulo and the capacity of the state to attract new investors.
The foreign delegation included authorities such as Betty Kamya, Minister for the Affairs of the City of the Republic of Uganda; Samuel Emiku, secretary of the Ministry of Business of the City; and Emmanuel Sserunjogi, mayor of Kampala, Uganda's capital.
