On November 26, Franklin Ribeiro, the Startup Ecosystem Head of Investe São Paulo, took part as a jury in the São Paulo Elevator Pitch, an event held by the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce and the São Paulo City Hall. The event, held at Farol Santander building, included mentoring and a competition: as the main challenge for startups is to attract investors and arouse their interest, participants were invited to do so through a brief and efficient speech – a pitch of 1 minute or less inside the elevator. The prize for the winning startups is an acceleration program in Canada.
