InvestSP signs agreement with Quebec investment agency to increase exports and attract foreign investment to SP

InvestSP, an investment promotion agency linked to the Secretariat of Economic Development of the State of São Paulo (SDE), signed a partnership with Investissement Québec International (IQI), from canada.
the goal is expand commercial relations between São Paulo and the locality. The agreement's main focuses are increasing exports and attracting foreign investment.


InvestSP, which already has an office in North America to attract foreign investment to São Paulo and support São Paulo companies that want to access the local market, wants to take advantage of the moment, by exchanging information and carrying out strategic actions, to map and create business opportunities for Canadian companies in São Paulo.


“Expanding the operations of Brazilian companies and enabling more foreign investors to have the security to invest in the State of São Paulo is the premise of InvestSP’s work. Therefore, it is important to make a concrete commitment to an institution as important on the global stage as IQI”, says the president of InvestSP, Rui Gomes.


Participating in the signing were: in addition to Rui Gomes; the head of InvestSP’s International Offices, Julia Saluh; the vice-president of Exports at IQI, Marie-Eve Jean; Jason Naud, Consul and Director of the Quebec Office in São Paulo; Thais Aun, director for Economic Affairs; and Joel Brochu, advisor at IQI.
