Casa São Paulo, at SXSW, will have Rohit Bhargava, Edu Lyra and KondZilla as speakers

The discussions, divided by macro themes, will take place between March 9th and 12th

Casa São Paulo, the State Government's exclusive space at the largest technology and innovation event in the world, South By Southwest (SXSW), in Austin, United States, will have big names to enrich the conversations. The conversations will be divided into macro themes, each day of operation of the House – which will be open to the festival public from March 9th to 12th. They are: Technology and Innovation; Social Impact, with Favela Day; Creative Economy, focusing on the universe of games and audiovisual; and Arts and Festivals.

To discuss the biggest trends and movements in technology, on March 9, we highlight Rohit Bhargava, renowned author and business strategist and founder of Non-Obvious Company; and the Vice President of Strategy for the Service and Support Area at Embraer – Brazilian Aviation Company –, Alexandre Avila. In addition to representatives of the State of São Paulo, including Arthur Lima, head of the Civil House, representing Governor Tarcísio de Freitas; Marília Marton, Secretary of Culture, Economy and Creative Industry; Jorge Lima, Secretary of Economic Development, Guilherme Piai, Secretary of Agriculture and Supply.

On the 10th, Favela Day will take place, to discuss the synergy between growth and social transformation. Among the participants will be Edu Lyra, Brazilian social entrepreneur and founder of Gerando Falcões; KondZilla, one of the greatest Brazilian directors and producers; and Virgínia Ribeiro, superintendent of Sustainability and Corporate Governance at Sabesp – Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo.

The 11th will be focused on debating the creative economy with Rodrigo Terra, co-founder of ARVORE Immersive Experiences; German Heller, writer, producer, director, software developer and expert in emerging technologies such as virtual reality (VR); Jamela, ambassador and teacher at DiversiGames, an initiative that promotes access to gamer culture for children and young people in vulnerable situations; Lyara Oliveira President of Spcine; Fernanda Garay Rodrigues and Fabiana "Fabi" Alvim de Oliveira former Brazilian professional volleyball players; and many others.

The program ends on the 12th, with a focus on discussing arts and festivals. Alan Rochlin, Business Director and General Manager at MAP Brasil; Christian Rôças, former CEO of Porta dos Fundos; Adriana Barbosa, founder of Feira Preta; and Jorge Lima, Secretary of Economic Development of the State of São Paulo. In addition to representatives from brands such as Som Livre, YouTube, Warner Music, Toyota, among others.

Casa São Paulo occupies a privileged space at SXSW, in front of the main hangar, with approximately 1 thousand m² and capacity to receive at least 5 thousand people, in addition to the more than 300 thousand people participating in the event. The organization is carried out by the Secretariat of Culture, Economy and Creative Industry and by InvestSP, an investment promotion agency linked to the Secretariat of Economic Development, in partnership with Gerando Falcões.
