Investe São Paulo

Only four months since its launch, the Área das Prefeituras, hosted within the website of Investe São Paulo, already has 202 municipalities registered, which have included more than 60 land areas available to investors.

The tool was designed to strengthen the relationship with the municipal administrations of São Paulo and obtain, in a faster and complete manner, information about the competitive advantages of the cities of São Paulo for the construction of new manufacturing plants.

Thus, it is easier for the Agency to assist investors in a faster and more accurate manner, combining the needs of entrepreneurs with what each city has to offer.

With a login, the municipal administrators are able to register the available areas in the cities, inform issues related to municipal tax laws and the master plan, request a meeting with Investe São Paulo, list the recent investments in the city to show that the company can get closer to a strategic client or supplier already established in the region, among other features.

“In addition to gaining agility in communication and intensifying the partnership with the municipalities, we will standardize the receipt of information, providing equal opportunities for the cities to participate in the selection process of the project location by the investor, obviously respecting the needs and requirements of each company,” said the president of Investe São Paulo, Juan Quirós.

Safety

To ensure that the information hosted in the website of Investe SP is accurate and up to date, the staff asks the municipal administrations to send a document signed by the mayor indicating the person responsible for data entry. “Ideally, this person should be anyone related to the Department of Development or agency related to investors support. Thus, our work dynamics is more organized and agile,” said Quirós.

The municipalities that have not yet signed up should send the document signed to Av. Escola Politécnica, 82, CEP 05350-000 – São Paulo, SP to the Department of Institutional and International Relations.
