Suzano Celulose enters Investe SP’s project portfolio

Investe São Paulo has been providing support to the new investments of Suzano Celulose in São Paulo.The company relied on the Agency’s advice to initiate the production of Fluff in its plant in Suzano.The material replaces up to 70% of the softwood pulp for pads and up to 30% for diapers, reducing energy costs and streamlining production at the unit.

Suzano Papel e Celulose is controlled by Suzano Holding, operating in the paper and pulp segment with sales in 31 countries.The company also sells paper in more than 60 countries and is the second largest global producer of the raw material, and is among the ten largest pulp producers in the market.
