Python invests R$ 9 million in a manufacturing plant of metal structures
With the support of Investe SP, the construction project of the plant in Itapetininga already began; Operations are planned to start in the first half of 2015
Investe São PauloPython Engenharia initiated the construction works to build a new manufacturing plant of metal structures and industrial equipment in Itapetininga. With the support of Investe São Paulo, the company is investing R$ 9 million and should create 100 new direct jobs and 50 indirect job opportunities.
Among the items that will be produced, in addition to the metal structures used primarily in bridges, footbridges and overpasses, are tanks, chimneys, pipes, pressure vessels, reactors, walkways and helipads. The goal is to report sales of approximately R$ 80 million a year.
According to Python, the new plant will cover 6,000 square meters of built area, occupying an area of 50,000 square meters located in the Industrial Zone of Itapetininga, bordering Raposo Tavares highway.
The operations are estimated to start in the first half of 2015. “Itapetininga wins with new plant of Python. In total, 100 people will be hired, stimulating the economy of the region. And the company will rely on an excellent infrastructure, skilled workforce and great quality of life,” said the president of Investe São Paulo, Luciano Almeida.
The company has been assisted by Investe SP, the investment promotion agency of the state, associated with the Department of Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation, since September 2013.
