Investe São Paulo and São Paulo Convention Bureau enter into a partnership
Memorandum of Understanding was signed during a Board Meeting of the Convention Bureau
Investe São PauloInveste São Paulo and São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau (SPCVB) entered into, on Monday, September 1st, a Memorandum of Understanding for the cooperation of the two institutions in attracting events and companies to the state of São Paulo.
The document was signed during a Board Meeting of the Convention Bureau held at the Sheraton Hotel, in the city of São Paulo. “São Paulo already concentrates the greatest part of the corporate events held in Brazil, but there is still a lot to be done to seek unprecedented fairs in the country,” said the President of Investe São Paulo, Luciano Almeida, who entered into the memorandum with Juan Pablo de Vera, president of SPCVB and representative of Reed Exhibitions.
“It is very good to rely on the collaboration of Investe São Paulo to help strengthen the business tourism,” said Vera.
The meeting was also attended by the alderman of São Paulo José Police Neto, the director of Tur.SP, Orlando Souza, the general manager of Investe SP, Wilson Soares, in addition to members of SPCVB: Carlos Eduardo Hue, from Sheraton São Paulo; Regina Paiva, from Soma Eventos; Rui Manuel Oliveira, from Meliá Hotels; João Nagy, from WTC São Paulo and Toni Sando, executive president of the entity.
