The memorandum proposes that the two institutions establish a mutual collaborative relationship in the attraction of investments
On November 13, Investe São Paulo and Paris Région Enterprise, the investment promotion agency of the French government, entered into a memorandum of understanding aiming at the cooperation between both institutions in the intensification of the economic relations between São Paulo and Paris.

The document, which was signed at the office of Investe SP, establishes a partnership between Investe SP and the administrative region of Île de France, located in the north of the country, of which Paris is one of its main cities. Previously, there have already been meetings held with representatives from various government departments of the region with the special assistance from the Government of the State of São Paulo.

The memorandum proposes that the two institutions establish a relationship of mutual cooperation in the exchange of information and attraction of investments.

The manager of Investe SP, Luis Arbex, introduced the agency and the services free-of-charge offered to investors, highlighting the state’s potential to welcome new French investments. He also took the opportunity to promote the new tool developed by Investe SP, which seeks to promote entrepreneurship in São Paulo, the website Find a Business Partner. The European delegation presented the website of Paris Région Enterprises and said it was available to help strengthen the economic relations between the two countries.

Investe São Paulo has already helped several French companies to expand or build production plants in the state, such as Norac. The project was implemented in the city of Ibiúna in 2013 and included an investment totaling US$ 25 million.
