Investe SP welcomes Korean delegation
Investe São Paulo's headquarters
On November 7, Investe São Paulo welcomed ten entrepreneurs from South Korea in the agency’s headquarters. The intention was to show the economic potential of São Paulo and answer questions from potential investors, as well as strengthen the economic bonds with the Asian country.
The meeting, chaired by the Agency’s investment manager, Renato Barros, showed the competitive advantages of the state of São Paulo, which has the largest consumer market and technological innovation in the country. Among the topics highlighted was the work of Fapesp, an important agent in the development of academic and technological studies in São Paulo.
The meeting was promoted by Kicox (Korea Industrial Complex Corporation), a state corporation responsible for encouraging the economic growth of Korea. The event was attended by entrepreneurs responsible for manufacturing products such as LED lamps, auto parts and software, in addition to the manager of Kicox, Jung Seok, and the director of Chungcheong Province, Lee Jeonghwan.
