Description

This Thursday (25), the Thermas dos Laranjais aquatic complex, in Olímpia, in the Administrative Region of Barretos, hosted Integra Turismo: an initiative of the State Office of Tourism supported by  Investe São Paulo.

In addition to bringing ways to enhance the local qualities as a tourist destination, one of the  developments of the event is to foster the so-called Tourism 4.0 and train professionals – whether from hotels, restaurants, transportation, health care and the entire network of Tourism, to service a new profile of tourists: better prepared, immediatist and seeking memorable and unique experiences.

The coordinator of Institutional Relations of Investe São Paulo, Thiago Messena, spoke to a numerous and diverse audience of executives, entrepreneurs and municipal representatives about how the tools offered by the agency can be an efficient path not only to develop smart destinations but also to attract and service the “tourist 4.0” with excellence.

In the city of Olímpia, Tourism has a fundamental role in the economy. There are more than 2 million tourists every year, something which develops the local culture, strengthens commerce and incentivizes the hiring of labor.

In addition to the lecture by the coordinator of Investe São Paulo, the attendees also were able to learn some more about the initiatives of the Ministry of Tourism directed at tourism locations and their development, and clarify doubts with municipal and state agencies.
