Tremembé’s vocation to welcome new investments is topic of meeting between Vaqueli and Investe SP
Meeting aims to approximate the municipality to the state agency responsible for the promotion of investments and competitiveness

The Mayor of Tremembé talked about the projects for the industrial development of the city
On March 16, the president of Investe São Paulo, Juan Quirós, was visited by the mayor of Tremembé, Marcelo Vaqueli. The meeting aimed to identify the economic vocation of the region and strengthen the city’s bonds with the state agency responsible for assisting private companies that have projects to build new ventures or expand their production.
“Located at Vale do Rio Paraíba, one of the main areas of economic development in the state, the city has an excellent road infrastructure and logistics, as well as institutions to develop skilled workforce, such as the agreement executed last year with Centro Paula Souza. The city has full potential to welcome new investments and expand its industrial park. However, the partnership with Investe São Paulo will be very useful for its economic development,” said Quirós.
The president of Investe SP also highlighted the importance for the municipality to determine its economic vocation, outlining more precise strategies for attracting investments.
The mayor of Tremembé reinforced the importance of the partnership with Investe SP. “The participation of the agency is essential in the industrial development of Tremembé. We are ready to receive the support from Investe SP through an expansion plan, and we left the meeting very excited today,” said Vaqueli.

The information provided by the municipalities are the basis of the lists sent to investors who use the support from Investe São Paulo.

Thus, the more information Investe SP has about a city, the greater the chance that it is included in the options that investors take into account when deciding where to settle their business.
That is why the state agency recently launched the Area of Municipalities, a section in the website of Investe São Paulo with exclusive access to the municipalities of São Paulo. Through this tool, the municipalities will be able to register the land areas to be presented to investors and report issues relating to municipal tax laws, master plan and map the investments announced in the 645 cities.

On the same day, the director of Investe SP, Sérgio Costa, also welcomed the mayor of Salto, Juvenil Cirelli, and the secretary of Economic Development, Labor and Tourism of the city, Eliana Moreira. On the occasion, the representatives of the municipality presented the infrastructure improvement project of the city, which will enable new investments.
