New industrial oil and gas hub is presented to investors in Investe SP mission to the U.S.

Traveling through 10 cities, representatives of Investe São Paulo disclose new project in the oil and gas industry and prospect American companies

Approximately 400 businessmen have attended the lecture given by the Investe São Paulo president, Luciano Almeida, in Houston, United States, about the project of the new industrial oil and gas hub in the State of São Paulo, with estimated investments totaling R$ 750 million, in Santos.

The presentation was part of the breakfast held on Wednesday, May 7, by Brazil-Texas Chamber of Commerce (Bratecc), which took place at the headquarters of Bratecc, in Houston, a city that hosts - from May 5 to 8 - the Offshore Technology Conference – OTC 2014, the world’s largest fair involving the Oil and Gas industry (O&G).

Along with the Business Development manager of Investe SP, Renato Barros, Almeida also participates in the search for find foreign companies interested in building a new plant in the state of São Paulo.

On May 6, representatives of Investe SP attended the breakfast ‘Invest in Brazil’, held by ApexBrasil in the same city. The purpose of the event was to present the investment opportunities in the country to American investors.

The events are part of a mission conducted by Investe SP to the United States, which began on May 3 and should continue until May 17. During the mission, Almeida and Barros will visit the cities of Houston, Minneapolis, Rice Lake, New York, Newark, Wallingford, Stratford, Washington, Seattle and Los Angeles. The schedule also includes meetings with experts from government entities, businessmen and research centers.
