“In this scenario of economic downturn, with the loss of jobs in the region, this electricity connection is vital for the city’s survival,” said the Mayor

The mayor of Ipaussu, Luiz Carlos Souto a.k.a. Luizão, asked the interference of Investe São Paulo to allow the connection of electricity in the Industrial District recently created in the city of 14,579 inhabitants, located in the region of Marília. The mayor was welcomed by the director Ermínio Lucci and the expert in Infrastructure, Eduardo Gutierrez, as recommended by the president Juan Quirós.

On January 22, Governor Geraldo Alckmin was in Ipaussu to inaugurate the Bus Station José Carlos Nunes and announce Programa Melhor Caminho (Better Roads Program), which will restore rural roads in the region.
During the visit, Geraldo Alckmin said he will promote improvements along the stretch of Raposo Tavares Highway between Itapetininga and Ourinhos, also benefiting Ipaussu.

The mayor informed the governor about the need for electricity in the industrial district of the region, situated next to Raposo Tavares Highway, to ensure the operation of a company of cement tiles already established at site and that will generate 35 direct jobs.

“In this scenario of economy downturn, with the loss of jobs in the region, this electricity connection is vital for the city’s survival,” said the mayor, who was referred by the governor to Investe SP, which will contact CPFL to solve this problem, since there is already an electrical grid within the district.
