On April 8, the director of Investe São Paulo, Sérgio Costa, participated in a panel about the State of São Paulo promoted in the Brazil Network Day (BND), organized in Amsterdam by the Brazilian Embassy in the Netherlands once a year.

With the theme “Investment opportunities and business: São Paulo vs. Netherlands,” the panel also featured presentations made by the director of International Relations of Fiesp, Thomaz Zanotto, the manager of Robobank São Paulo, Tanja Jungen and the director of partnerships of BTG Pactual, José Miguel Vilela.

In his presentation, Costa talked about the services offered free of charge by Investe SP and the characteristics that make the state attractive to companies who are thinking about investing in Brazil. “In 2014, São Paulo imported US$ 644 million in Dutch products. Our consumer market is growing and creating new demands that can represent great opportunities to those who nationalize the production and benefit from the incentives offered,” he said. He also talked about the tool ‘Find a Business Partner’, ideal for those who want to invest in São Paulo through a local partner.

BND also featured a panel about investments in the Netherlands and spaces for networking to the participants. The event brought together more than 430 entrepreneurs, leaders and opinion makers in the Amsterdam Arena Stadium.

The panel also featured the participation of Ambassador Piragibe Tarragô, the mayor of Amsterdam, E.E. van der Laan, BNDES manager in London, Vinicius Vidal and the director of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Netherlands, Hans Mulder.
