How can the French-Brazilian partnership increase innovation in Brazil? To answer this and other questions, the IX Forum of Innovation and Technology was held on Thursday, November 9, at the headquarters of Investe São Paulo. Topics such as Industry 4.0 and the new possibilities of the digital world for business set the tone of the event, which ended with delivery of the IX Foreign Trade Award by the France-Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCIFB-SP) to FuturMaster, a provider of solutions for Advanced Planning Systems (APS).

“We are partners of the French Chamber in the search for innovative companies that can bring technologies to be incorporated in our industry. Innovation is fundamental for the economic development of the state and the country,” said the director of Investe São Paulo, Sérgio Costa.

Held every year, the event aims at promoting the experiences of the French-Brazilian partnership in the most different segments related to innovation. In this year’s edition, after the event opening, with the speech of the president of CCIFB SP, Thierry Fournier, the Ambassador of France in Brazil, Michel Miraillet, and the director of Business France, Richard Gomes, two panels were held before revealing the award winner.

The first panel, entitled “Advanced Manufacturing/Industry 4.0”, was attended by representatives of Dessault Systemes, Schneider Eletric, Saint-Gobain and IHM Stefani. The second panel addressed “Customer Centricity and User Experience (UX)”, and featured the participation of Cap digital, Edenred, Hi Technologies, Loggi and Leroy Merlin.

The award winner was revealed after the panels. The award is given every year to companies that represent the harmony between France and Brazil, as is the case of the technology startup.

“We are very happy to win this award, as it reinforces Brazil’s recovery and the increased concern of companies with business management,” said Julien Connan, director of FuturMaster. “We are a large and well-known company in France, but here in Brazil we work as a startup to develop market actions,” he said.

The company is present in 65 countries with a total of 10,000 users and an overall turnover of approximately 14 million euros, working to plan and optimize production chains of various sectors. The products optimize the global logistics chain, estimating demand, supplies, production and distribution, allowing for a general reduction in the costs of the organization.
