During the meetings with businessmen in Miami and Los Angeles, the president of Investe SP presented the business potential in the State aiming to bring new international investments

From September 7 to 12, the president of Investe São Paulo - São Paulo's Agency for the Promotion of Investments and Competitiveness, Luciano Almeida, travelled to the U.S. to present the business potentials and seek new investments to the state of São Paulo. The meetings took place in two cities of great economic potential, Miami and Los Angeles, with the promotion of events with businessmen interested in learning more about the economic opportunities of the state.

At the first meeting, held in Miami, there was a discussion of topics related to the aviation industry with American executives who operate in this segment. The event was organized in conjunction with the Enterprise Aerovale and the International Consultancy of the Aerospace Sector.

“For being a leader in the manufacture of aerospace parts and components in Latin America, the market in São Paulo already has a consolidated workforce in the sector, which leaves us in the path of international investment plans, with several business opportunities,” says the president of Investe São Paulo.

In Los Angeles, a seminar was organized at the headquarters of the Brazilian Consulate, where the President individually met a group of American businessmen interested in developing investment projects in the state. The event was organized in partnership with the Consulate of Brazil and Brazil California Chamber of Commerce.

To date, Investe SP has provided support to attracting nine companies from different regions in the U.S., which together totaled US$ 489 million in investments, creating more than 2,200 direct jobs in eight cities in the state of São Paulo.
