180 MW will be produced per year

On August 8, the director of Investe São Paulo, Sérgio Costa, attended the opening of the plant of solar panels of Globo Brasil, in Valinhos. The project is assisted by Investe SP and will allow creation of 240 direct and indirect jobs.

“The State of São Paulo has been increasingly making efforts to bring investments to help further clean the energy matrix of the country,” said Juan Quirós, president of Investe SP, which is associated with the State Department of Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation.

The plant has the capacity to produce 2,000 solar panels per day and 180 MW per year, revolutionizing the Brazilian energy sector.

“The Brazilian energy matrix, fueled mainly by hydroelectric and thermoelectric plants, is deficient and has an extremely high cost. The inclusion of a solar source will allow Brazilians to have access to energy at lower costs and increased safety,” said Flávio Manuel Coelho, lawyer and director of Globo Brasil.
